This is a great example of an original New Model 1859 Military Vertical Breech Carbine, converted to . 50 70 Government caliber, serial number 33051. This features a later version of the Sharps action with an improved gas seal and vertical breech. It still shows much of the original finish in areas, and the stocks are in fantastic shape, with visible inspector cartouches! The bore is also in very good condition, with
